'BlogHop' with BlogLoveTherapy and MondayBeautiesBlogHop

Time for another 'BlogHop', this time it's on BlogLoveTherapy. You may have seen, that I joined in with their 'TwitterHop' a few weeks back. Blog Hops are a wonderful way to be introduced to new and awesome blogs, you probably wouldn't otherwise get to see; they're also a great way to get new and genuinely interested followers.
I highly recommend 'BlogHopping' to any blogger, newbie or old hat! It's real fun and it's seriously addicting!

I’ve never found one light enough for my skin tone, that I love the formulation on. I love the formula for Garnier BB Cream, and I need the palest shade from CoverGirl. A Mix of those two products with a slightly bluer base, and we’d be in business for sure!

I love my e.l.f primer, but my fave has to be my NYX eyeshadow base in white.

 I look awesome in orange, mauve, nude, coral, bright red, Intense bold colour’s suit me best!

4: Favorite drugstore mascara(s)?

 L’Oreal Voluminous in Carbon Black, Revlon Grow Luscious by FabuLash, Hard Candy 1,000 Lashes Fibre Weave primer, etc, etc.

5: Do you enjoy practicing on others by doing their makeup?

I do everyones makeup, beauty and prosthetic/special effects, I’m first and foremost an artist.

6: Can you record videos (or do makeup) with others watching? (Significant other, siblings, etc)

I’ve filmed a few vids with my sister that never made air, I need to find a better filming setup first

7: Which do you prefer; loose pigment or pressed powders?
Pressed powder, it’s less messy-and I’m a huge Klutz! Although I love making colored liner  and mascara from loose though.

8: Do you enjoy foiling?
Why, Yes I do, mainly on other people as I feel it almost always feels too dramatic and vampy for me

9: How many times have you colored your hair?
too many too count, I’ve had every colour imaginable! Aqua, green, purple, red, bright red, blue, etc, etc.

Love cats, you can always cuddle a cat.

Five Years-The Rise& Fall of Ziggy Stardust series!

I decided to do my first ever character series inspired by the classic album from David Bowie; The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars from 1972! I'm a huge self professed David Bowie Fan, and Ziggy is possibly my favorite album. I adore the back story of this album, It's so vivid and it seems so real. If I were too explain it it would be a really long post, so I'll save it for the end.

The first look in the series is for 5 years, the very first song from the album. This song sets the stage for the album. The setting is a pseudo wasteland type planet Earth, in which there are only 5 years left to live on this planet, the kids; essentially are left to fend for themselves as the Adults have all lost touch with reality.

FIVE YEARS

Pushing thru the market square, so many mothers sighing

Cried so much his face was wet, then I knew he was not lying

NOTD: Brights Power! from OPI

Today's Nail of The Day or NOTD stars the OPI Polish Brights Power!From The Brights Collection via 2009! It is an amazing Vivid Orange shade! It is perfectly Orange, no shimmer, no matte, no glitter, just a beautiful bright orange!

I am sorry for the stock image, I'm just not fortunate enough to own all these beautiful polishes:( This shade is fairly opaque, and not watery, like some of my Nicole by OPI polishes are. You need approximately 2 coats for full, opaque, beautiful coverage. The drying time is crazy, I'm not used to these crazy fast drying times, I've been using cheapie drug store brands, for far too long!

 In Natural Light this colour heats up any room! (and trust me; in Canada right now;WE NEED IT)

Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Firming Butter

Today's Post is a kind of pseudo review/experiment in one. It is all about this product (down there!)

Palmer's Firming Butter retails for $4.79 CAD at WalMart-It Claims to be "specifically designed to firm and tone your skin, anytime, even after pregnancy or weightloss." It has Collagen and Elastin in its formula, along with the usual Cocoa and Shea Butter; It says that it "helps improve skin elasticity and texture." While Vitamin E and Ginseng relieve and soften "stressed" skin, while Co-Enzyme Q-10 helps smooth and revitalize said skin. It also claims to help improve the appearance of Stretch Marks! You are instructed to apply this twice daily over your "flubby bits" ie: Legs, Tummy, bust and thighs.

I was very skeptical about this, but I thought it's $5 bucks, no biggie. So let's hear some results; I have been using this 2-3 times a day for approximately 4 days. My Skin is already tighter, more toned, and less (in lieu of a better adjective) "flubby". This stuff has already minimized the appearance of stretch marks, and Overall makes me feel way better, My Thunder Thighs don't jiggle as much when I walk, and I love that even after a pretty rapid weightloss (see photo at bottom) like mine, I can rejuvinate my skin with such an inexpensive and delicious smelling product!

I hope I'm not giving the idea that this cream serves as a tummy tuck in a bottle, it doesn't, but it definitely helps your skin to tighten and to stretch without an obscene number of stretch marks. I am definitely an advocate of Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula's Now, I urge every pregnant woman, every woman or man attempting weightloss, or anyone who feels a little "flubby" to use this product like there's no tomorrow, No need to thank me; I did not create this miracle cream, I only reviewed it. How Humble am I? LOL!!!

My Experiment is too reduce the amount of "flubby" skin, that surrounds all my toned muscles-I work damn hard to keep in shape, and I want to show it off. I also wanted to reduce the appearance of stretch marks, I've had them forever--I was a big child, and a pretty chunky teenager. I wanted to improve my self esteem, and I thought that perhaps, this Firming Butter could help. And so far, 4 days In, I am way more confident, and my skin feels so amazing, and I always smell delicious! Which is a HUGE plus. I shall update my reader's on my experiment as it goes on (perhaps once a week, but no promises!)

Simple, Sophisticated Smoky "V" Look

My Video Of The Day Today is a really simple, sophisticated "V" eye look, it's created using Taupes. I love Taupe, I feel like it looks great on virtually everyone! If you don't happen to be a Taupe person, try this look with bronzey warm browns, or rich chocolates!
